The "Lou Mars" playing style is described as a "show drummer". Capable of supporting most types of music but specializing in Rock, Indie, Alternative, and Funk. Lou Mars has extensive studio, tour and showmanship experience. Mars is easy to get along with, likes to laugh and keep it fun while taking his role seriously when on stage or in the studio.
Lou Mars drumming is currently being featured in the Dixon Drum your way to Hollywood special airing on the Comcast on demand A&R Channel. Lou is also featured in the Warner Brothers recording artist Sharon MaRee music video "The Way You Love Me" (2010 Grammy Nomination) currently airing on the GMC channel. Lou just completed the Guinness Book World Record for Marathon Drumming attempt, January 14th, through January 18th, 2010 and played for 4.5 days a total of 108.5 hours to place himself as the second longest drumming performance in history and one of only three drummers world-wide to ever play beyond 100 hours.
